This page will help you prepare for your inpatient visit at Meadowfields Hospital.
All inpatient stays are arranged in advance with your physician(s). Be sure to check the details of your stay before arriving. Prepare your hospital admission packet and any other requested materials and be sure to bring them with you. Ensure you know the building (Meadowfields Main or Meadowfields Annexe) in which you will be staying.
Meadowfields Hospital is accessible from D51 station on the MRT Desert Line.
Upon arrival, enter through the main entrance by the large archway and complete the security screening. Check in at the information desk with your full name and date of birth, then proceed to the admissions suite. There, an admissions specialist will review your admission packet and begin the admission process. Your psychiatrist will then evaluate you to determine the optimal ward placement. A nurse will then escort you to your hospital room, which may change over the course of your stay. Most patients will spend some time on the admissions ward before moving to a specialised ward. Please aim to check in at least fifteen to thirty minutes before your stay is scheduled to begin.
