Accident & Emergency

Auburn Health Services provides emergency care at Auburn General Hospital, which is home to a 59-bed emergency department that is classified as a major trauma centre, capable of handling even the most severe traumatic injuries.

Patients may register for services by entering through the department's dedicated entrance along Airport Way, through hospital's main entrance on Viola Avenue and proceeding to the Emergency Department lobby, or by arriving via ambulance directly to the Emergency Department.

The Emergency Department provides exemplary continuity of care through its close integration into the rest of the Auburn Health Services system. Patients' care will seamlessly transition as they move into inpatient care in the hospital or outpatient monitoring and follow-up through DHS.
